How does visor - magnifier for iOS and Android work?
Visor uses the camera of your smartphone and advanced software with image filters to render a live video image of everything you are pointing on with your smartphone on your device’s display.
The picture is blurred, what am I doing wrong?
The magnifier app uses your smartphone's integrated camera. Hold it at least 5cm away from the object you want to enlarge and allow the camera to focus on it first by tapping the screen once. You can also tap and hold the screen to turn on auto focus.
Can I make a photo of the object, I've magnified?
Sliding up the big ( + ) button in the magnifier app reveals the photo functions of the visor magnifier on iOS. Pressing the Pause Button, will freeze the camera image on the Android Version of visor magnifier.
The app is very slow on my Android Device, what can I do about it?
We still haven't found a solution for this. Many Android Devices, especially older ones, don't have the performance, that is needed for applying contrast options to a live picture in a very high resolution. It is mainly caused by customized Android software, that occupies a high amount of the hardware resources of the device.
These performance issues only occur on some older Android Devices, Apple Devices with iOS are not affected.
